Community Ambassador
Tamworth

3-15 hours a week, supporting existing community projects including our Safe Haven service and Future Focus service.

To support the community in providing useful, relevant and up to date information to support their emotional wellbeing and mental health.

This role would ideally suit a person with lived experience of mental health problems or a carer.

Full training, support and materials will be provided.

Safe Haven Volunteer

Note on Volunteer Counselling Placements

Burton and District Mind do not currently have any vacancies for Volunteer Counselling Placements.

Due to the complexity of the clients referred to us, student counsellors placed with us MUST be on their second or subsequent placement and must have 100 counselling hours prior to placement.

They will have completed a qualification Level 5 or above (including a Degree in Counselling).

They must be BACP registered (or equivilent membership will be considered).
