We’re so close, just £1300 short of being able to run our Face the World project, which celebrates mental health, neurodiversity, and creativity through performance.
Burton & District Mind Development and Sustainability Officer Keri Lawrence said
“Burton & District Mind are working with Shoebox Theatre on a new and exciting approach using a blend of psychoeducation, drama and performance to help people in Tamworth in just this situation.
Funded by Tamworth Borough Council and crowdfunding, we will provide 16 weeks of expert support and facilitation, which will lead to people feeling better within themselves, having better social connections and friendships as they meet their ‘tribe’.
We will build their confidence to Face the World.”
The project ends with a special performance created and performed by participants, sharing their unique voices and stories.

- Add your logo to all social media posts about the project
- Thank your business on our website
- Highlight the social value your support brings to neurodiverse people and the wider community.
Every bit of support helps, no matter how big or small!
