This week (3rd to 9th August) is Local Mind Week, a celebration of all the local Minds across the country that provide vital mental health support.
No two lives are the same.
Neither is the support you need.
That’s why your local Mind shapes support around you.

As #YourLocalMind Burton & District Mind raise funds independently to support the mental health of people across East Staffordshire, Lichfield District & Tamworth Borough.
Whilst local Minds are all a part of the Mind family, we are still an independent charity and our support is all based on the needs of local people.
Through being local we can identify and understand the needs of our community, and change our services/projects based around that. We can listen to what people are saying. For example, our Help us to Help you Community survey gives local people a voice. (Click here for our 2026 version)
